From the original record

The programme contents were developed with the special needs of Anglican clergy in a cross-cultural and multi-religious African setting in mind. An Anglican priest in such a setting must not only be able to celebrate mass, to preach, and to provide spiritual guidance, he must also be a partner in inter-religious dialogue and be a qualified teacher. These factors determine the special content structure of course topics in this degree programme.
