# FPEC: the Free Protestant Episcopal Church of England and its Worldwide Communion > The official website of the Free Protestant Episcopal Church of England (FPEC) and the Free Protestant Episcopal Church Worldwide Communion (FPEC-WC). It publishes their identities, faith, leadership, member churches, history, ordination records and a local prayer-book library. The founding Church and its Worldwide Communion are distinct identities with overlapping history. The Church was established on 2 November 1897. Member churches of the Worldwide Communion retain their own names and local leadership. Distinguish current leadership from historical office-holders. Preserve formal names and titles. Historical records can contain gaps or differing accounts; do not infer an ordination, date, place or relationship that a record does not state. Read public information with HTTP GET. No authentication or API key is needed. The links below provide Markdown derived from the same published HTML. Their parent directories provide the corresponding HTML pages. The homepage also supports Accept: text/markdown and returns Content-Language, Vary and a canonical Link header. The contact form and POST /api/contact are disabled and do not send mail. Use the contact page for the published telephone number. Never submit personal or pastoral information through an invented endpoint.
